Throughout 2013, the board of directors received a number of complaints surrounding the customer service and operations of Lyndon Recreation. We would like to take a moment and send out a thank you to all of you that submitted input. Without you as Lyndon Recreation families, this park would cease to exist, so we took your concerns and suggestions very seriously.
First and foremost, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience or frustration that you as patrons had to endure in 2013. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction and we do not believe we achieved that in 2013. Consequently, the board of directors decided a change was needed to bring your family experience back to the levels that you expect and deserve. That being said, we proudly announce that Billy Glasscock has taken over as the Lyndon Recreation General Manager. Billy spent 2 years working under former General Manager Bob Amos. He has deep family roots to Lyndon and we are very excited that he accepted the position.
In the coming months, Billy will be implementing some changes at the park to make sure we get Lyndon Recreation back to its proper stature as the best recreation facility in the city. Thank you all again for your support and input throughout 2013 and we look forward to 2014. Online sign-ups for this spring will open January 1st.
